Selling cars is about building relationships between dealers and customers with trust that lasts for years (and lifetimes!). It's not about building a better mousetrap; Toyota has proven this for years by building crap but supporting it with a "painless" dealer network.

So you're saying that you drive crap. Admission is the first step to rehabilitation...

Sorry it took me so long to respond, but I had to finish laughing (not at you, but at whoever told you this).
D3 rebadges other people's parts and sells them at a profit. There's a market for roof spoilers and heavy wheels I guess, but they aren't a tuner- think of them like JC Whitney.
If Cadillac is going to have an "Official V-Series Tuner", it would most likely be a company that has experience working with the LS series motors and GM, such as Katech, Lingenfelter, Callaway or Mallett.
Also, I wish them the best finding someone for my Dealership that knows more about the V-Series then I do.

Most of the reviews I have read of these 7 and 8 speed transmissions say that the lower gears are too far apart, and the upper gears are too close together.

Agreed, but I know more than my share of people who you can't give a Benz to because of the exact same issues. Face it, all cars have problems, certain dealers are better than others no matter what brand car you buy.
