Is this bad...New Upper Mounts and Shocks

My front susp was making noise and the dealer installed new FE4s (pn-19150079) and both sides upper mounts/control arms (25752929+924) under warranty. Car only has 10,000 miles.

In the pic you can see that the spring is rotated out about 1/3 inch out from where the other is. Should I take it back or is this no big deal?

I still have some noise when going over bumps but is much better. I have the GM race sways from Luke. Anyone else have issues with these? I may try the stock ends on the sways and see if that helps.

Re: Is this bad...New Upper Mounts and Shocks

I had a metallic clunk in the rear when going over speed bumps too. My dealer replaced the worn TSB cradle bushings with the new style and rotated one of the springs to where it was supposed to be. Clunk is gone and car feels great!

The spring is fine. I think it was Tony that mentioned another mount that maybe the problem. When the wheel is suspended force applied could reveal your noise if the the strut is not the problem.

Struts and upper A arms were replaced. It did get better but not gone. You don't hear it on 99% of the driving. I have to drive down about 1/4 mile of private road that needs repaved so I hear it but the dealer doesn't.
