And two more. The first one is from the balcony of the meeting shed. Not everyone is lined up yet.
Note this last one. This is NOT a photoshop, either! The left tire came from my right rear (the left rear looks the same), and the right tire came from my right front. I got up this morning and left the Best Western about 6:20 am, and it was raining cats and dogs. I already knew the rear tires were a bit worn and figured Summit Point would finish them off. I had terrible traction at SP, and kept breaking loose the rears whenever I accelerated. Holy $hit, I did't know they were THAT bad! They hydroplaned like crazy for the first 2-1/2 hrs on the way home until finally the rain subsided. I was lucky to get up to 50 MPH, and even then it was white knuckles! Anyway, that's the best excuse I've got.
By the way, all of you guys were incredible drivers! Especially the green group!
Also, someone told me of their encounter with a couple of the M3 drivers that were there. Immediately reminded me of the cactus-BMW comparison. What stereotypes.

I knew your tire were bad, but you really beat the hell out of them at the track
I kinda thought the red group was the class of the field

I felt your tires as they were on the wear bars. Glad you made it through the trek unscathed. Warning dot the next time. . All good times as we learn and grow!
Twitch, hope you and Stefan got home okay. Your Falkens looked really nice. Now that I've got to shop for some, I'll be assessing those, too.
The ride home was great. We left at 7:30 and hit the rain, but traffic was light, and the cruise controle was set at 75. Rain stopped, no traffic, no stops, got home before noon.
BTW thanks for NOT taking me on that ride in your maggied V . Can't afford it just yet .
