Cadillac Forums: Dyno time!! New bolt on KING!?!?!?
didn't you make 410rwhp or something with boltons on mustang dyno? which dyno did this guy use? dyno jet is joke you know.
Chris could make around 440rwhp on a dynojet. Dynos can really only be used for tuning. But as far as comparing numbers, the dynojet correction factors are much more comparable to each other than mustangs are to other mustangs.

did you use dynojet? i haven't used dynojet for sometime but before there were mustang dyno everywhere, dynojet was more available. I remember seeing about 5% or more difference between two manufactures. BTW, nice numbers and dyno is really for tuning anyway.

My real dyno is 1320long.
Yeah, I dynoed on a dynojet. What I'm saying about mustang dynos is you really can't compare them to each other the way that you can dynojets. Trukk for instance dynoed 355rwhp (on the mustang dyno that he now has made 412rwhp), but on another made 378rwhp with the same mods. Mustangs are always all over the place, Dynojets are 'usually' closer to each other.
1/4 mile times aren't always comarable either due to DA, which means more correction factors and more room for errors. Only real way to compare cars is to put them side by side on a track.

On a side note, the bolt on king title was once self proclaimed by trukk. I just had to lay that one to rest. I could still be the bolt on king though, simply because I have more bolt ons than anyone else. It's really win/win for me.

OK, OK, you are the king, as I first posted. BOLTON King
