08' Z06 knob?

Someone I know just put this on his Z06. Wondering if it would be a direct replacement for ours?

Search for 'norm' it's one of his posts....and was actually just brought up very recently...search shift knob, you'll see a ton of options.

Re: 08' Z06 knob?

i tried looking through those other threads to see if anyone has bought that shift knob/boot setup and put it in with a katech 2 short shifter? If it fit well with the UUC short shifter i'm thinking it will work with Katech???? not sure though, any thoughts?

Re: 08' Z06 knob?

yeah, the katech shifter is threaded, wasn't sure if that would prevent the use of this shift knob, or should i just use the tap that came with the katech on the shifter? would that be a smart move even though some ppl had previously stated that it was a snug fit with the UUC? confused... are there any other options for any other types of shift knobs that will fit the katech, the stock shift knob doesn't do the car any justice at all, it flat out sucks...
