I've had my Maggie on for about six weeks and notice the gas mileage is significantly less. I used to get 16-17 around town and 23-24 highway. Now it's 12-13 and 19-20, respectively. I thought it might be that I was winding it out more (love to hear that Maggie whine), but I deliberately kept the rpms down on a long highway trip and still only got about 20 mpg.
Mine seemed dramatically better according to the computer but i burned a tank in a day and a half this weekend... I do find i "could" stay in 6th more often thanks to the extra power which keeps the RPM's down, but i rarely do...
I have never broken mine down per city and highway, but I get around 13-14mpg per tank. I think there is at least a 10-15% variation based on how heavy one's foot is. To be honest, it brings a smile to my face when I fuel up, do the math, and calculate a number closer to 10mpg .
You guys getting 24, is that on F1s? Cruise control? On my drive back from Ohio, at about 75 with the cruise control set, I only got 22 (21 according to the computer). What year?
The 2007 ratings shows EPA highway of 24, my 2005 sticker shows 23.
75 mph with cruise, GSD3's -275's rear. Cold tire inflation 29-30 psig after 4-5 hrs of driving pressure at 35-37 psig.
