Saw a '14 CTS on showroom floor today

I just have to say: WOW!

Although, I was kind of disappointed in the amount of plastics on the steering wheel and around the CUE display but all in all it is spectacular.

I too saw what must have been a base model, and was a bit less impressed than I thought I would be.

Must be the awful 17 wheels you saw. This car needs to have 19" standard.

Other than that, I really liked the base CTS, supposedly should look almost identical to a fully loaded premium CTS.

Out of curiosity, I test drove a base 2.0T and I was pleasantly surprised. It drove and sounded better than the ATS 2.0T. With a tune and aftermarket exhaust, it can be a blast.

    Did I mention 19" wheels a must?

Re: Saw a '14 CTS on showroom floor today

Just saw a new 2014 CTS on the showroom floor as well as the ATS. Both nice looking cars, but for me the ATS is too small and the new CTS looks a little big. I can live with the front end changes, but don't particularily care for the rear end. The rear tail lights looked smaller perhaps due to the fact that the back up lights are not a part of them anymore.

Seems like the edginess in the 2nd gen styling that really turned everyone on has been smoothed over. All in all though still nice looking rides.

Yes they are losing the edgy design which is the reason I bought my caddy....I'm hoping they change it back some in 2015 or 16...until then im keeping my 08
Cts or may buy a newer 2012 -13 down the road.

For anyone to wait years for a change in the design is, "existing". I'm enjoying the best car Cadillac has ever made. This is "called,"living". I'm on my way to the garage, to put another coat of Zaino Z8 on it. Cheers.
