I don't know if this is a technical issue or just something that is common with tire pressure during normal road-driving.
Yesterday I got my tires (OEM Michelin Pilot Sports) rotated for the 1st time amongst some other regularly scheduled service at the dealership. I noticed that after the service was complete that the data on the DIC was 35 psi for all tires. I noticed today when I was driving home with 2 other adult males in the car (seated front passenger and passenger rear) that I was getting tire pressure read out as follows: RF, LF, RR - between 37 and 38; LR - 35 (sometimes got 36, but after a mile or two it would go back to 35). The driving I was doing this afternoon was highway for probably about 55 miles on routes 3, 46, and 80 in Northern NJ with temps in the mid 80s. Just checked it now (~2 hrs after coming home and now the read out is 35 for RF, LF, RR and 34 for LR.
Does this sound normal for regular driving with passengers or do I need to get the TPMS for the driver-side rear reset? Worse-case scenario, can there be something wrong with the sensor? I'm going to wait a couple more days and monitor the DIC read-out as I'll do some highway driving to/from work (~15 miles).
Don't worry about it. Adding two passengers to your car weight does not change the tire pressure just the shape of the tire. The readings are no guarantee to be 100% accurate, just Close enough - use a good tire gauge on cold tires to get the real story.

Agree on the use of a tire gauge. I checked the pressures when I got home yesterday and noticed that the reading on my gauge was 2 psi higher than the TPMS read out on the DIC. I am probably making big deal out of nothing.
Yes. And you should be ashamed. We on this forum only worry about really big, important things like tow hooks, roof liner rattles, brake dust, unlighted shift selectors, modifying the FE1 suspension to make it handle better after buying it 'cuz FE2 & FE3 are way too harsh ... ...

Yes, all of that. And let's not forget the seven pages (and still counting!) devoted to imaginary golf-ball-sized hail damage. If there's a "God," then He will surely strike down everyone associated with that vacuous thread.
