Was sitting outside, sipping some scotch, when thunder clapped loudly. Rain ensued, "Wow that rain is loud...... HAIL!!!!" Ran to my car as fast as possible, pulled out of the driveway, and under the nearest tree. Even with the speed I moved, at least 50 golf ball-size pieces of hail hit my poor little girl. I need a garage, or a canopy ASAP.
OMFG! nick that sucks so baddd i'm sorry.. at least you have insurance which should cover it.. i don't even know what i would do if it started hailing, my dads car has dibs on the garage and no trees around to hide my car under
Now chief, what the hell else was I suppose to say to him? One can always hope.
I take it you have never been caught in a golf ball size hail storm? Yea, one can always hope but golf ball size hail is not sheet metal friendly, not even if slightly deflected by hiding under a tree. I can say to ngiardina that I hope the repairs are to his satisfaction. Sorry to hear of your ordeal.
I have looked it over, and there is on;y one spot I can see. Unfortunately, the car is wet, and it is still raining. I moved quickly, and nothing significant hit the car once under the tree. I hope it is okay. I am going to buy a canopy for the driveway, a steel building will require permits and variances.

Full on panic, that is what I did. You would have thought we were under attack. My wife thinks I am nuts. I sat in the car under a tree down the street for twenty minutes
ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh NO! I am so sorry to hear this. Keeping my fingers crossed that once the storm is gone that there will be very little if any damge. UGH!...I am thinking of you and hoping for the best.
