I was finally offered the supplier discount by one Cadillac dealer on the purchase of a 2008 CTS which he had in his inventory. The salesman told me he can pass on only one supplier dicount a month to a customer. I personally do not know if this is BS.
Just curious; why didn't you wait for the 2009? You will probably get one of the last 2008's built. |
Your net price which you said comes to $400.00 over invoice sound like a good deal. Many dealers have been getting MSRP or close to it. Some dealers also tack on a dealer fee on to[p of everything. WEre you also able to get the GM loyality dicount which is $1,000.00?
I, too, thought I was getting a great deal without help from the General.
The difference between MSRP and Supplier MSRP is almost $4k!!! Should I expect to see $4k off of my already well negotiated deal??
Never owned a GM car before, so no loyalty there.
Didn't wait for an 09 because it would have been August when I got my car which would have cost me $1000 more. Now I will just have the lowest mileage 2008 when I sell it in 2013.
