Bluetooth. I hope this will make some of you feel better
Recently I start doing a lot work for MB dealers. and I was shocked when I founded that not every mercedes comes with BT. Many C Class do come with BT. Higher models, only with special package. many of high end models comes prewired for BT, which means, after you paid tons of money for your vehicle, You'll still pay around $1000 for BT Cradle. and if vehicle did not come prewired, it may cost additional $3K to have BT installed.

MB/Audi/BMW/Lexus/ did not have BT as a standard equipment. Can't speak for Acura, don't know much about that vehicle options. But from what I've heard, TL without Nav Radio did not have BT option

I think OnStar has a lot to do with it. GM would rather you pay them for minutes than be able to use your bluetooth phone. Without OnStar minutes I think you would have seen bluetooth a long time ago.

Just for the record, I hate phones, and bluetooth seems real silly to me. I don't want to talk on a telephone while I'm driving, ever, even without using my hands. Again, I hate telephones and I love my CTS.

What's so good about that? You are still paying for it. It's not FREE. It's just included in the base price of the car. At least if you don't want it or need it, in a Caddy you can opt not to pay for it. In your TL... you pay for it even if you don't want it.
Go look at the RL and compare it to the CTS in equal options... they are just about the same price. Acutally, I think the RL is a few grand more...

I'm not sure what you mean by "did not". They have all offered it for at least the last couple of years. I never said standard.
BT was standard on ALL TL's since 2004. I know, I had one without Nav.
