Overall, I'm very satisfied. I had to have the exhaust lowering TSB performed and I think the seat memory functions are a step backwards from the Gen I CTS. However, both of these a very minor. Overall the car is awesome.
Love the car but cannot honestly say no problems. the headliner was making a noise and the dealer took care of it.
so the dealer experience - Weil in Libertyville IL - was good.
also the rear stabilizer bar shifted and made noise in the suspension that I fixed. total: two minor problems. certainly no show-stoppers.
I have some small disagreements with design/styling decisions, like the low dead pedal, no bluetooth, sun visor doesn't go up high enough, no option to defeat rainsense. Overall a great vehicle, still having fun driving it after 8500 miles.

Michael Karesh can speak for himself, but it should be noted that his TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results are indeed a "cadillacforum-based consumer report." It's my understanding that virtually all, if not all, of TrueDelta's 2008 CTS survey participants came from this here "Cadillac CTS Forum - 2008 and beyond."
Regarding your poll, it's too bad that you didn't allow multiple answers for those of us experiencing multiple combinations of "Minor...problems," "Major...problems," and "My problems were never resolved."
928S, I guess I assumed participants in this survey would choose the greater of all evils to describe their problems.
I noticed from your other posts you seemed to have more than your fair share of repairs (Working for an implantable medical device company, I more than understand quality expectations, but also understand that some, correctable issues are almost unavoidable). But, the ones that would concern me are the ones you would have liked to classify under 'my problems were never resolved'.
