Just saw this over on Jalopnik, but not only are there new spy photos of the 2010 Cadillac CTS Coupe, but apparently that might not even be its name - It will be called CTC, which seems logical. 2010 Cadillac CTC Is The New 2010 Cadillac CTS Coupe (Jalopnik) |

| | | Re: New CTS Coupe Spy Shots - May Not Be Called CTC They do not report a source for that rumour. A while ago there was a list of new type codes. Might just be the CT4 Coupe in 2010 by then. |

| | | Re: New CTS Coupe Spy Shots - May Not Be Called CTC OK gang, here we go again. What do we think the rear camo is hiding? Is it a reworked fender/trunk area? Or simply something to make guys like me ask these questions. It seems to me that with all of the negative feedback regarding the "hatchback" look of the rear quarters, they might try to do something to alter it a bit. Anybody have any thoughts?
P.S. CTC doesn't sit well with me, but I'll take one no matter what they call it. |

I think they should call it the Eldorado...IMHO one of the best car names ever. The "Cadillac Eldorado"......now that has some oomph to it, better than all these letter names that everyone is moving toward |

Eldorado is, indeed, a unique Cadillac name, however it would not match up to the rest of the alpha numeric names presently in use. |

| | | Re: New CTS Coupe Spy Shots - May Not Be Called CTC I have heard of penis envy. but I am disappointed that Cadillac has Saleen envy.
Can't they come up with their own design?
That back end is soooo high. It NEEDS two exhausts situated wide apart.
I too do not like the Letter names.
I can't even begin to understand the Lincoln designations for instance.
I would love to know the sales target for the coupe.
I have a funny feeling that after the initial 5000 units or so, the thing will lay around unsoldf with huge rebates.
There are no a lot of people who want to spend <>$45K on a hatchback. |

FWIW, the spy shots have the center exhaust, but the outlets are mounted vertically, not horizontally like the shot above. |

FWIW, the spy shots have the center exhaust, but the outlets are mounted vertically, not horizontally like the shot above. | Soon after the Coupe Concept was introduced at the NAIAS, Edmonds came out with the announcement that the coupe would go into production with some changes to the front fascia, elimination of the center exhaust in favor of the more conventional dual setup and would have a lip spoiler which would incorporate the third brake light (supposedly to extend the rear deck and eliminate the "hatchback" appearance). It appears that they rethought the exhaust idea, at least for the present. If I had my way I'd go with the conventional exhaust set up and some sort of rear fender crease. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
