Yes, obviously it is a CST. Sometimes my dyslexia gets the best of me. Sorry about that.

Move to Massachusetts and they will supply you with your Air Force speciality. For a nominal fee that is.......

I never even thought to check with PA. They may also have one.

Re: 2008 front plate alternative? Aftermarket? ideas?

Gentlemen, using the photos originally posted by CTSoto I went to the dealer this morning to have the front license plate bracked lowered. I was hopeful that it could be done as described by Markbeeler. That is to say by merely taking it off and turning it upside down and still use the same holes. Well, I stayed with the fellow who did the job and while it turned out looking fine, I must tell you all that it can not be done using the same holes. Getting it off was quite a challenge because the rivets that are use are quite large. Once off and everything is turned over we had to drill two new holes for the back portion. Then once that was in place we had to put two new holes in the larger piece just to keep everything tight. While I was not a fan of the additional holes, at least they are all hidden. Thanks to everyone for their ideas because without all of your input, I would still have that thing ruining the entire look of the front end.

So, when it is originally installed, there are 4 places were it is mounted? Then, when it is turned upside down, is it still secured in 4 places (2 of them being new holes)? Or is it just secured in 2 places?

It is still secured with four (4) rivets. I am almost (95%)certain that all new holes had to be drilled. However, since the plate will cover all of the holes, what difference does it really make if they had to drill just two new ones or four?

Thanks for your tips that helped me to flip my front plate a couple of weeks ago, cafpaf. And your recall is right....when the plate is flipped and re-attached, there are four new holes and the original four holes as well. Fortunately, all eight holes are hidden behind the plateholder and never to be seen again. Thanks again.
