Nice ride indeed! By the way, how did you get an ebony interior with blue chip? I did not think that was an allowed combination.

The tint was $399. Mine was 3.75% for 3 years - The lease rate has come down since I ordered, but so has the residuals, they determined it was cheaper to give it to me at the higher interest rate than at the current rate.

Thanks! Blue Chip/Ebony is allowed in Canada for some reason - I've no idea why it's not in the US.

I think these two shots shows off the tint nicely:

Yes, I'm lazy - I only shoveled half of my driveway!

I've come across quite a few cases where some engine/powertrain/option was available in Canada but not in the U.S. I don't know why this is so often the case.

Engine/powertrain differences are one thing, but it just seems like not allowing Blue Chip/Ebony is an arbitrary decision.

I know standard equipment can differ in the US and Canada (I think sometimes even within different states - the biggest example being standard vs. optional block heaters), but differences in interior colour choices just seems silly, IMHO. My car came from the same factory in Lansing, after all

I never liked how they sometimes limit interior colour choices to certain exterior colours anyway.

Re: Post pics of your new 08's here!

I'm OK with them limiting certain color combos in general, but to make the limitations different between two countries that are next door neighbors is just nuts.

Isn't that how we got into the first war with Canada? You know -- the one chronicled in the South Park movie...
