Here is the post I've promised re my new 2008 CTS. Sorry for the delay.
Gotta say, my new CTS is absolutely terrific - period. I've included here vehicle order info, my summary comments of the car and a bunch of photos.

Impressions in brief:
Highs: Simply too many to mention. This car does everything REALLY well. Plenty of things to delight. Think it's a bit of a cross between an MB "E-Class" and BMW "3 Series / 5 Series"... only a whole lot better in a variety of ways. As well, I don't really like how those cars look, not to mention their being over-priced.
You feel great behind the wheel of the new CTS. Love seeing drivers of BMW's, Infiniti's and other imports craning their necks for a better look of my CTS as I drive by.
Lows: Non-availability of Bluetooth integration, Intelligent Cruise Control and Voice Recognition (for climate control & audio systems) on 2008 model. Non-availability of B20 Wood Trim on vehicles built prior to Oct. 8/07 (which is a plus to some... but the shift knob really needs wood!).
Overall: The best driving, best equipped and best looking sport sedan America has ever produced. I love that this car is in my driveway. Everyone who sees my new CTS4 tells me they want one real bad!

This is a really, really nice car... easily the best looking, best handling and best equipped sport sedan I have ever owned. I absolutely love this car. I am so glad I waited for my CTS to arrive, and not rush to buy something else when those delays were happening.
