I finally took delivery of my DI AWD CTS late yesterday.

This is a really, really nice car... easily the best looking, best handling and best equipped sport sedan I have ever owned. I absolutely love this car. I am so glad I waited for my CTS to arrive, and not rush to buy something else when those delays were happening.

I've been getting a lot of compliments from everyone who comes by to have a look at our car. The neighbors are very jealous!

The weather has been pretty lousy here since picking up the car, and I've unfortunately been really under the weather (excuse the pun) for the last few days, so this post will be brief. Will be back in a few days and will post several high quality pics taken under hopefully sunny skies, along with my further comment on the car.

My immediate impression is that my new CTS is extremely difficult to fault, and I'm very happy to have this vehicle parked in my driveway. What a lovely car.

Congratulations RAB! Its beatiful. I hope your feeling better soon. I feel your pain.. the whole family here has had the flu for about a week now.

I saw a 2008 CTS on the road today while I was out in my vette...

The CTS is stunning! Can't wait till mine comes in as well.

Glad I took your advice to hang tough and wait out what turned into a very short strike..

I would have been bummed if the strike had lasted 50 odd days though..

The waiting although exciting is hard but seeing your post sure makes the wait worthwhile.

I ordered my light platinum CTS on 9/15 and have been counting the days (sometimes minutes) ever since. Your pic makes the wait worthwhile.
