possible dumb 08 question

this question may be dumb, but i read somewhere that the 08 CTS-4 is only coming with the regular 3.6L engine.. but then i happened to see pics of the CTS-4 with the 3.6DI engine.. does anyone know what the deal is? can you get the direct injection engine with all-wheel drive?

Yes, both engines are AWD capable. But AWD is only automatic.

thanks.. that's what i thought at first, but i read on one of the road tests that you couldn't get the DI engine with awd

None of the articles say anything about the diesel that is coming as well for the CTS... I would be curious if that would be available in AWD
