So take of the plastic on top of the streering wheel then the one right before the guage cluster? Then I have to pull out the whole guage cluster? [ |

You'll then be able to access those wires. Might even need to cut away some of the black rubber protecting the mass of wires. I had to. |

There were 2 brown wires. One had a white stripe on it though. So I tapped into the solid brown. Hopefully I hit the right one. How can I test to see if its the right one? When I hook it up to a multi meter should the volts very when I rev the engine? Thanks. |

Hi, i saw a post of yours from a while back where you said you were putting an avic in your cts. I wanted to get this nav but have never installed one before and dont know what i need in order for it to fit. Could you please let me know what i need in order to make the avic-f90bt fit in my 06 cts. Thanks. |

How are you looking to install the navi? I know of two ways. One is the easiest, but you'll lose your dic. Which is to buy an aftermarket radio kit. The other way is alot harder. Which intails raki g out the factory radio and cutting the face to fit the navi. You can find more details on cadillacfaq.com. I would give you the exact link, but I'm on an iPod at work.

I was hoping i could replace the current cd changer/stereo setup so that the screen was on the dash where the stereo interface normally is. |

Pop the panel off the end of the dash on the passenger side. There is a large black connector there. Tap into Pin 7 of that connector. |

Sorry got jumbled up in the posting i have like 5 different forums of differnt topics running at the same time. So whats a dic? That kinda sounds like the option i want. I dont care about the current radio. I bought an avic f90bt and just want it to replace my current radio. But i would like to be able to have satellite radio, as well as the nav and pretty much all the capabilities its got including a rear view camera i bought for it, cuz not that I'm one to judge but i cant see over the hump when i look back through the rear window in my 06 cts. |

The DIC is Drivers Information Center, which is on the factory radio's display. Take a look at this install. (Best bang for your buck)
