lost soft ride

Have 2007 with 37k kms ever since shocks froz (-45) ride is very stiff now will frez solid at -23 .been to dealership 3 times on this they said ride is ok .shock pkg is fe1 .now looking at after market for replacement any idea's?

I've heard of this happening on auto-leveling rear shocks that are air-controlled (like most other GM vehicles that have self-leveling suspension) but for the setup that the CTS has, I'm not sure what would cause it to ride stiffer over time?

KYB, Monroe, and I'm a few others make replacement shocks.

I have used them. They are as good as the stock FE1.
