Tires

I have a set of 18 x 7.5 wheels with 235/45 18 tires... here's my problem... I just got these wheels with tires for less than I should have paid for just the wheels. Well I picked up a nail and its on the sidewall so I'm pretty much screwed. I called around for used tires and nobody has 235/45's but I did manage to find 245/50 (i think, but I dont remember the numbers now). They said the tires were wider and lower profile than my 235/45's. I know this isnt much info but I wanted to check to see if they will fit before I drive there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you say "used" tires?

Different size = won't be the same as the other tires

Here's a website that you can crank in your tire sizes and get approximately the circumferances and diameters. If you go the the site (right hand side, bottom; type in your size and it will reveal dimensions).
