I dont have stock sway bars so I would guess that I would have the to drill some holes then to mount them? thats a mod..is it worth it?

Re: CTS-V Sway Bars (takeoff at 36k) - anyone interested?

All CTS's came with front and rear sway bars. The V-bars are a simple remove and replace job. The bolt holes (and even the brackets) are the same. Only the bar diameter and corresponding bushing hole diameter are different. They do improve the handling in the twisties. A real no-brainer.

As far as a Strut Tower Brace, the Early V style (from the LS-7) won't fit our cars at all. The later V STB (from the LS2) is the same as the optional CTS-Sport STB and will bolt in, provided you have the later hood (05+) that has the indentation for the bar. I've tried both, but don't have the under hood indentation in my 03. One of these days, I'll cut the cross brace and weld a lower one it to clear the 3.2 and also the hood.
