did you not see where i said i drive an '04? and that's an '09 cts-v that set the record, not an '08 (or an '04 for that matter). and if you look at the other contenders for motor trend car of the year you'll see that based on the requirements the competition was not that stiff for '08. you beat an accord, some fugly fords, and some minivans, too. whoo hoo!

i love my CTS, but its not a sports car by any means. 1/4 mile in 14.5-15.0?

its quick. got great handling. awesome styling. great price tag. room to spare. but its a dog to 60.
of course, that doesnt mean "22s FTW" ... its driver's preference |

Rim Size, offset, etc...
did u have to do any mods??

GM made damn sure we could not performance upgrade our cars. Read any magazine when the CTS first came out. I believe all were unanymous. The V6 CTS is seriously under powered. Pathetic I believe some said. The V was what they all wanted to see. This is where GM spent thier money and time. The V6 CTS is undoubtably a sport "appearance" car. Too bad. GM has this shame on thier hands. They absolutely left us high and dry performance wise. It is V only if you want the real thing. I love my car. I wish I had a V. Alas I do not. I have 20's on mine. Strictly for the looks. Certainly not for performance. However. Removing parts or making "any" change to the cars' suspention or body to fit a wheel size is ridiculous IMO. Not my car. Do what you want. Chrome pillars don't hurt your performance either. It only harms your credibility...lol |

NO SUSPENSION MODS NEEDED. no scraping with 5 people in the car plus @ 100 pounds of beat in the back. maybe the stock suspension is way more high tech than i gave it credit for. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
