Re: Those who have Lindsay drilled and slotted Rotors

I have contacted Luke and he is looking into it. So far I haven't heard back from him.

Re: Those who have Lindsay drilled and slotted Rotors

I have the same issue with the rotors. The amount of rust showing is even worse on the rear rotors.

Re: Those who have Lindsay drilled and slotted Rotors

I checked my stock rotors i have laying in the garage now, and they all show this small area or unswept (not a word? using it anyways!) metal. It's normal.

Re: Those who have Lindsay drilled and slotted Rotors

It's normal. There's ALWAYS going to be a small amount of the rotor that the pad doesn't touch. It's like that on every car. It may be larger due to them being aftermarket rotors & pads, but it is like that from the factory too. I painted the hub (center part of the rotor) and the outer edge when I painted my calipers. Duplicolor makes a high temp paint for brakes, but engine paint works just as well as long as it has Ceramic in it. Here's a couple pics. These are the stock pards/rotors...

Re: Those who have Lindsay drilled and slotted Rotors

Hey Guys, Luke at Lindsay had no real answer for the problem, so I just painted the rotors with high heat black paint. They look great now. Thx
