Re: CTS-V mufflers on a 2003 3.2L CTS?

The V Mufflers have a nice lower bass sound. Not loud by any means. The larger 2.5" mufflers will reduce the gas velocity a bit. You will get a nice set of tips. E&G get over $50 for similar tips. You will need the nerve to cut the rear bumper for the second tip. I suggest having that professional done.

Re: CTS-V mufflers on a 2003 3.2L CTS?

I put them on mine and I noticed right away that the sound was better. Can't say that my gas mileage is better since you want to get on it more.. just like after I did the TonyA mod..

I have thought about pulling out some of the fiberglass inside them but I don't know how to patch the hole afterwards.... I saw a few posts about it but for some reason, I just can't grasp what they are talking about for the plug... anyone have a picture or something?
