tinted my tails w/VHT paint...

Fracking love it! It makes it look much more sinister. The car is at the dealer right now but I will post pics soon. The VHT paint, nightshades. Worked VERY well. Get them clean and it will run easily. (I practiced on the g/f's rt charger first) I waited till it dried and wet sanded it. No problem at all. It comes out with a somewhat spraypaint-uneven finish but wet sand it and it is perfectly smooth. I did the tails and the deck lid brake light. A lot of crap to take apart but well worth it for the look.

I hope you cleared them afterwards, because tinted tail w/o clear looks GHETTO.

15 years ago we were doing trucks with that stuff and then clearing over it so it would not look dull.....

I am about to spray mine with tinted clear.

Clear over them? Good idea. I will have pics soon. Sorry. I have to borrow a camera and such. They look really cool on silver smoke. I went pretty dark(like the women I date). I like the sinister look it gave.
