Unhappy Wet passenger side rear floor

Remove this ad
I have noticed yesterday that the back passenger side floor is soaking wet. I suspect it may be coming from what appears to be an air or heating vent under the passenger side front seat. Is there any way to stop this? It's been hot the past few day and the air has been running hard. Also, I had an oil change a few days ago. Is it possible the tech bumped or pinched off a drain tube where the condensate should drain out? It's bad enough that when I stop, a puddle forms outside the car where it drips. Help!

Mud dobbers plug the A/C drains. Weed whacker string works pretty well to rod out the hoses. There must be 25 posts on the subject.

I had the same problem take it back to dealer problem with AC drain hose mine was covered under warranty even though car was out of warranty. They alos put in new rear carpet for me after a little bitching. Pull your carpet up and I am sure you will see a little rust there, if so makes your beef with the dealer a little better at getting fixed free.

Re: Wet passenger side rear floor

I just got my wet floor problem solved. The dealer said the hose was not plugged but the hole in the bottom of the condensor housing was to small and they wanted to charge me $80 to fix it. I bitched and they did it for nothing. It did not make sense to me the the hole would be to small but they made it bigger I guess and now its dry again. Just thought I would share my experience.
