Left Side Mirror repositions?

Weird Question. Every time I get back in my car after turning it off, the left side Mirror is all the way up. I have to adjust it every single time. My right mirror stays in place. Anyone have any idea to this annoying problem..

Re: Left Side Mirror repositions?

the CTS has an option that a lot of other luxury cars dont; you can set preferences and settings for 2 different drivers.
on your door panel (Driver's side) you should see the controls for windows, mirrors, as well as a "1" & "2" switch.
When you push the switch towards "1" it adjusts all the settings in the car (temperature, radio station, seats, mirrors, etc) to the preferences last set under 1. The same goes for the "2" switch.

From what you said, it sounds like you haven't set your preferences. Adjust the mirror to your preference, then hold down on the "1" switch until you hear a beep-beep-beep that will confirm that the settings were changed & set. Next time you press the 1 key, or next time you get in the car & use the key fob that has the 1 behind it, the car's computer will automatically adjust everything to these settings.
