| I desperately need a better Ipod option! suggestions?
whats up everyone? Today I bought an itrip made by griffin and suprisingly it is much better than I expected, however..having to unplug it from the cig lighter every time I turn off the car is going to be a major pita! ( thats one of my grips with my cts, all cig adapter's are always on!)
I desperately need to find a better way to integrate my ipod into the factory radio. I have an 05 CTS 3.6l with the non nav single cd radio. I do have on-star with the mounted antenna and recieve the rds from radio stations. I visited a local custom(stereo store) today and he said with my model car/stereo I only had 2 options...both involving controlling my ipod with my hand. And both through the fm! one wireless and one attached to the antenna input on my radio.
There has got to be a better way, got to be! Please anyone with idea's chime me in. I have searched and read almost every post on here dealing with ipod integration...everything seems to be dealing with the nav radio or one with included xm. the dealership where I bought the car from last week said my radio is xm compatible, but didn't have the xm adapter if that helps. |
