It will make the 17's look much better by closing the gap in your wheel well and improve cornering as it lowers the center of gravity of your car. |

| | | Re: Review of Prokit/Hotchkis IDK just seems like new sway bars and stuff are kinda pointless unless you race on a track, as I hardly ever find a street that curves enough at all to test it out. I have the FE3 suspension on my 2005 CTS. What does that have over the FE2 or FE1? |

I have the luxury package now, can I go with V shocks and the Eibach's?? | From my experience its always best to upgrade shocks at the same time you do springs so you don't have to worry about it later. Tirerack.com has some aftermarket shocks for the Cadi.
Whats your finger gap on the stock wheels with the eibachs? Any tucking of the rear tires? If so, did you have to roll your fenders?

| | | Re: Review of Prokit/Hotchkis I used eibach prokit on my 02 t/a firehawk. You need an alignment afterwards, trust me on this.
And yes, putting lowering springs on will kill the stock shocks faster. But with only 40k miles? I donno. Unless you got a defective shock or something. Best of luck, and let us know what happens. I would also love to see pictures of a cts w/ 16"s lowered on prokits. |

| | | Re: Review of Prokit/Hotchkis OK, I got the car back today after work and my installer said they took everything apart, turned the springs, and I heard almost nothing on the way home! I haven't been able to really test it yet but it was MUCH better. I still heard some noise on the big bumps but I think I can live with that for now.
Thanks for the tip on shocks on tirerack.com, is that the cheapest place to get them? There is no tucking with the stock 16" rims!!! |

| I'd doubt you'd need to change them that fast unless you were off-roading with it... popping sounds are usually made by shocks going out, but I'm sure other components can make that sound... someone chime in. |

Driving home from work today and the damn popping sound is back...not quite as bad but it is def. back!! I'm just gonna live with it for now cause I love the look and better cornering feel. |
