factory take-off wheels

I'm trying to find any way to get wheels for my Caddy because I really want to get rid of my 16's before I have to buy new tires.

Here's what I've been able to gather....

5x115 bolt pattern

5x120.7 will work with an adaptor
5x114.3 will work with a hub centric ring

I'm checking dealerships for any factory take-offs they may have and wanted to see what cars I should be searching for that will fit the caddy. I found a local guy selling his 08 Charger wheels but I'm not sure they're gona fit. any help?

Re: factory take-off wheels

I got a set of 05 17" sport rims w/ brand new tires. Tires were basiclly taken off day of deliver of the vehicle for bigger rims. Bought them on ebay for 700 shipped. They literally looked brand new, tires still had all the little nubs, and the colored lines. I would look into something like that.

Re: factory take-off wheels

stick with a 5x115 or 5x114.3

how much are you willing to spend?
you can get the really good looking 18" sports rims for around 600 for all 4. Nick is the one that posted the deal & where he got them from, search & look through old threads for more info on them.

Re: factory take-off wheels

so my budget only allows me to shop for used wheels. Anyone have a list of vehicles with the same bolt pattern that I should look for? I really don't want to mess with getting hubcentric or wheel adapters so I'm looking for vehicles with 5x120 bolt pattern.

also, does anyone have a good resource for searching for used wheels online besides ebay?

ASA18rims.jpg

18" rims with 234/45r18's, found these local for a VERY good price... they're off a 98 Maxima. I'm a little worried about the FWD to RWD difference.... since the whole backspacing issue is Greek to me (I have no math skills, I'm a graphic designer so my brain just wont work that way), I'm going to rely on everyone else's advice.

Re: factory take-off wheels

there is no point in buyin 5x120... i have a set of 20s in my garage and ive looked into this and its not worth it...im sellin them and buyin new rims. if you are buyin rims get 5x115...its what was ment to go on this car.
