Replace Plugs

Remove this ad
I need to replace spark plugs on 2003 CTS, BUT MY QUESTION IS ABOUT THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DOES IT NEED TO BE REMOVED TO GAIN ACCESS TO PLUGS ON DRIVERS BANK???????????????????

The reason for this question, is that during a thermostat replacement, dealer removed the brake fluid reservoir, to get it out of way, and screwed up steering,, resulting in additional service call, and of course they denied they screwed it up, and had to pay for extra 2 hours labor to fix steering.

Hopefully someone has replaced plugs and can answer question about brake fluid reservoir.

Re: Replace Plugs

You just need to undo the three bolts that hold it and move it to the side. No need to remove. Read my post with the pics!

Re: Replace Plugs

This is a very easy job, you don't need to do anything involving the barke reservior, but you will need to disconnect the power steering reservior from the engine an move it to the side the rest very easy, what I found was difficult was on the passengers side but it was a matter of being patient and it became like a 2 hour job.
