Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin ??

CTS05 Lux/Spt 225/50R 17

It has been 3year and 33K so it's time to change my OE Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. Unfortunately I don’t have many options to choose from. I was wounding if any of you have an idea about Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin or at least can assure me it will be better than the OE regarding the ride comfort and performance.
I'm starting to get really annoyed from the road noise and the high hazard of driving in the rain on the OE tires (TG we don’t have snow in here) ….

BTW the Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin is manufactured in Malaysia so will I be worried about the Quality build?

The price ~ 170$ (each)

I know many will suggest ordering on-line but the shipping cost is a killer to get stuff to where I live ….

Re: Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin ??

I would search tire rack and read the tire review section. You can read reviews on tires for the year make and model of your vehicle. I could find no review for that particular tire. The Bridgestone tires do seem to get good reviews.

Re: Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin ??

Yah I went to www.tirerack.com and did a LOT of research and found many tires that I like but as I stated earlier I can't buy them on-line nor I can find them here .On the same sit I didn’t find Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin that's why I wrote my post here I figured maybe someone heard of it..
I did a lot of googling about Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin and I'm getting a leverage of good and bad reviews but all agreed that it handles amazingly well on dry conditions, on wet condition the reviews takes a different side. Some states that it handles pretty well and others disagree about this…. Any how

I never used Bridgestone before so I'm not sure what I'm expecting compared the ones I have now…

PS: I mistakenly was informed that this tire was manufactured in Malaysia but the fact is it is made in Japan ….

some of my finding :

I have heard awesome things about the Bridgestone Potenza Pole Positions, and that was even from former firestone workers who hated firestone.

Re: Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin ??

I thought I need to update this thread.

Finally after long hesitating I got the Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin
What a difference compared to the Goodyear Eagle RS-A.

Almost no road noise, MUCH comfortable than the previous, and it handles very well on corners.
I was driving 93Mph and did a strong zigzag on the highway it felt if the tires were glued to the road and the rare end did not wobble like it used to do when doing this at a lower speed. In fact I almost swear that the rare tiers has it own steering mechanism that make the car shifts lanes faster.
Also I got rid of the -180o spins- each time I need to do a U turns.

what I hate about those tires they don’t look attractive from the side on my CTS, Very Japanese look than Germany, and so Roundy like a donut. Maybe it's just me…

Useful info:
Tradewear 220
Temp A
Traction A
Made in Japan
Production date 8th week of 08

I'm glad I made this choice and hope they will give me many years of happy driving than the Goodyear.
