Will an 04 radio function in an 03 CTS

I have an 03 CTS and the radio screen screen has a spot on it that is messed up. I bought an OEM radio from an 04 SRX and was wondering after I had it unlocked if it would have all the same features as my original radio. (Would it communicate with the car as far as personalization, oil life, battery, ect.)

Yes, It will have all features in. There should be a display clock on your radio now also if its made in mexico you cant do F1 F6 and clear the service engine light on.

Any pics of the SRX radio how did it work out?

There were some posts a while back, I don't think the SRX has the same buttons on the steering wheel so it may need some programming change then the security reset. try doing a search.

to my knowlege the SRX radio will not fit in the CTS and like sammy said it will function different. if it works all the best and if not keep in mind that i have an 04 OEM CTS Radio if interested, but im sure your will work just fine.! lets hope?

Can you tell me a little bit about your radio you have for sale? I am looking for one for my 03 CTS. My CD kicked the bucket. All it reads is CD ERROR now when I try to play one. And if I am lucky enough to get on to play it won't last a full song b4 it goes back to CD ERROR. At least it doesn't try to keep the CD. And I am using original CD not RW's
