Re: I'd like your opinion on these photoshopped rims....

Thanks for the help; I really appreciate it. I love the stock CTS-V 7 spoke rims, but I believe they are 6 bolt? Not sure, but if they are, they won't fit my CTS.

The rims you pictured are great; they're just not what I was after. I'm not really a fan of rivets and I really prefer a cleaner rim. By cleaner, I mean more simple, I think, with fewer angles, etc. I agree with your comment about the Boss 318 rims I pictured, with the ends of the spokes looking odd, but for me, it's a minor flaw I guess. Something I'll just have to live with...

Cheers

ultimately, its your car & you gotta be the one thats happy with it, so you definitely gotta do what you like best.
btw, yes the CTS-V wheels are 6 lug, but the Vogue CV-7s are a very similar design to the wheels (almost identical) however, they are available in a 5 lug bolt pattern. Check with your local cadi dealership (They should have a vogue tyre representative handy).

here are the CV7s on a ridiculous looking CTS To the nasty car & tires.

Re: I'd like your opinion on these photoshopped rims....

I agree, it is something I need to be happy with. Although those Vogue rims look great, I would be more than annoyed having to buy them in silver only to have to powdercoat them black. And looking at them again, I think I prefer the Boss rims anyway... Just wanted everyones opinion Keep 'em coming!

Cheers

Re: I'd like your opinion on these photoshopped rims....

I would go with these. BOSS 328 but in black chrome. The price is pretty much the same. I find that the 318's look kinda cheap.

Re: I'd like your opinion on these photoshopped rims....

Thanks, but I'm not really interested in a 5 spoke rim on a CTS...

Cheers

Re: I'd like your opinion on these photoshopped rims....

Well, as usual, I spoke too soon....
I did some searching and found those 328's in black and I think they look great. And to boot, they're about $200 cheaper a set than the 318's in black chrome. Thanks for the idea tornado

Here's a photoshop again of the 328's on the same ride in my initial post:

Cheers!

It would be great if you were the first to totally black out all the chrome on the 08. Even if the chrome is tinted it will match the black chrome wheels and look way better than the chromed out look of the vents and windo trim.

Nice wheels. Either of the two.
