Repairing Cracked Clear-Plastic

I did a quick search, and couldn't find anything on this. The body of my car had been doing well until this last year. And now, so many dings and cracks!

My latest problem occurred when I put a 2-inch crack into the top-rear tail-light. Everything works fine, but I want to know if there is some way to fix the crack without replacing the part (something like those windshield-chip repair kits). I don't think there is, but I had to ask...

$140 (or less) on eBay. I don't think you would be able to make a decent repair.
