I am going to chicago illinois on tuesday.. Does anyone know a good shop where I can get my timming belt change?

Are you looking specifically for a Cadi dealer? or general mechanic?

I had mine done at the Heritage Cadi dealer in Lombad IL. They did a good job. I didn't trust it to an independent garage. There are tools that are needed to hold the cam shaft in place while you put the new belt on. Other garages don't have the tools so I let the dealer do the work.

While they are in there I told them to replace the water pump as well.

That's Grossinger 312-379-5555. They've only been a Cadillac dealer for about 1-2 years, but they'll give you some good attention and service like they did when they only did Toyotas. They do charge dealership prices, though.

I just picked-up my car from them today for warranty work.

I may not be a good judge, though, because I used to take my car to the Oak Park dealership (Foley Rice) before it closed-down. They were horrrrrrrible. I won't start that, though, because I would ramble on and on and on about my experiences there...
