I purchased “no more dust” wheel cleaner. It did a great job of cleaning the wheels. It claims no scrubbing needed. I did need to scrub a little it did do a fantastic job of removing the break dust. I picked it up at advanced auto for 5.67

I would recommend this product.

i use orange cleaner on my old rims...does an amazing job and doesnt seem to harm the rim...it was designed 4 chrome rims and i was told about it from a rim shop but they didnt sell it.

Sounds like its a fairly strong cleaner. Be careful with strong wheel cleaners, they are usually some form of acid.

Get the MSDS list, post up the ingredients! I can't find any info on it...
If the manufacturer wont provide the MSDS list, Id stop using it.

In the meantime, wear dishwashing gloves and a respirator until you know what this product is made of. You have to be healthy to enjoy driving your CTS!

Just because you stuck your arm down the lion's throat and he didn't bite it off, doesn't make it safe.

Sniffing isn't nearly as harmful as skin contact or enhaling the airborn mist. Say or do what you will, but Ive seen first hand what wheel acids can do to your skin...
