| | | Re: First Oil Change 8800 miles... Questions? The money is not the issue with me. I do most everything myself because then I know it is done right (go ahead and call me "Mister anal"). I've heard too many stories about the lube shops stripping the oil pan plug, leaving it out, or forgetting to fill the oil.
I fill a steel 5 gallon pail with my old oil and take it down to Checker. They have a big used oil tank.
