just push and hold it for a couple seconds, the DIC will say stability system disabled and then when you release your tc will disable as well.

It doesn't do anything to the suspension. BAsically it cuts throttle and applies braking to the neccessary wheels to keep the car going straight.

TC for straight line traction.
Stabilitrak for lateral traction

Took my 2004 SRX to another dealer they knew right away what the problem was. They replaced steering positioning sensor and it is fine now.
