speaking of tinted tails. i got a story.
Was pulling into Timmy Ho's(Canadian version of Dunkin Doughnuts) for coffee and the police pulled right behind me, so I opened my sun roof, not that my tints are overly dark, 35% all the way around with I think 25% on the back or something. Anyway just one over legal. My tail light are tinted too, and I haven't installed my led's yet so I was actually more worried about that. I've been driving around with my lights on so they don't look too dark.(my drl's are disabled)
Yes my car looks baller(insert wanksta jokes here), so I know I'm gonna get pulled over. I pull into a gas bar across the street right when I leave Timmy Ho's(picked up some smokes) when I come out sure enough they are waiting for me. As soon as I pull out, bam, pulled over. Officer says " I pulled you over because your tint looks pretty dark" and I respond, "it should be legal". Anyway, two more cruisers show up with lights flashing within seconds, I'm thinkin oh great the tint police are here, they have been pinching people with too dark of tints, they usually hit hard the beginning of every summer around here.
But actually the are asking me if I have drugs or weapons and if they could search my car, I say o.k.
So as they are searching my car, one of the officers recognize me from last time I got pulled over, says he's a car guy and asks me about my car.(he really likes it) I'm like "ya I guess it really draws attention". asks me if I did any more mods, says it looks different from last time, I'm like ya, got my summer rims on from last time. Says he always sees my car outside my tattoo shop.
They finnish searching and let me go.
I was all ready with my "those tails are factory" speech, but in the end I was polite, friendly, co-operative, I let them do their thing and I was on my way.
No sense in bitch'n my way into a ticket.
I can't wait to get my led's in.
I have since looked up the highway traffic act for my area and can't find any law here prohibiting tinting of the rear brake lights, only that they have to be red when lit, and so many candle power.bshouldn't be a problem with led's. Also it says around here you can have front blinker either amber or white. just tails can't be all white.

That stuff is the shiot. A 2 part clear in an aerosol. Shouldn't be any issues with it holding up. I'll get some better shots when I go out later.
