Good ole miami florida...

i was with state farm paying about 180 a month full coverage close to maxed out and im told by many down here that i got an awesome deal. thats being with statefarm for many many years, having 4 cars and 2 boats insured under them with all the little discounts in between. I was happy with it.

Until recently... (my fault)
im a high risk driver u would say. I just turned 22 this month. i have a hand full of speeding tickets, totalled one car, totalled one bike, and recently got arrested for DUI. State Farm dropped me off their policy and the cheapest quote ive gotten so far is about 320 a month...

I pay about 120 a month for full coverage on both my mercury and cts. 500 deductable. Not bad, and i have had 3 or 4 speeding tickets in the past 4 years. And im 27 years old. Im happy. It seems like my monthly pament goes down every 5-6 months to by about 5-10 dollars.

bigger accidents yes, but a lot less frequently. less traffic, less theft, less vandilism. when there is a death there is actually a lower payout than if there is a perminant injury. with death there is just funeral cost plus a max of what the policy is (usually 1 mill) but with a perminant injury there are lawsuits in canada that are 10mill+ in usa its even higher.
so its based on how much they would have to pay out per year in benifits based on likelyhood of having a claim...more drivers = higher risk.
