Rookie Question

I have the Sport edition with the S by the shifter. Can anyone explain to me how to use this?

C'mon man I know that but I read a thread that talked about redlining. I used to have a Honda so I can do that but I'm not sure how to do it with an automactic.

Basically just mash on the gas. Your car just won't shift until you redline the car or lift off the gas pedal.

I tried that and it stalled for a scond like I was gonna break the thing.

Its sports shifting, it changes the shift points... thats it. nothing grand but it does make a HUGE difference.

So to use it I just push the button and smash on the gas?

ok ,lol. Push the button. A little green light comes on the dash. You can drive normal with it on and it will hold your shift points to a higher RPM. If you put it to the floor, Not only will if hold the shifts longer but it will keep it in the gear longer without down shifting. For ex, your going through a corner and if you keep going faster you wipe out. So this will let your take your foot off the gas, stay in the same higher rpm range for better acceleration out of the corners. I've been so correct me if I'm wrong....

And I think that all the autos have it, not just the sport trim level.

press gas hard
