Stock alarm question

Remove this ad
Does anyone kno if the alarm will go off if the trunk is forced open..?
..i kno it will sound if your door is open..
...apparently some thief's have hit my quiet neighborhood..
two of my nieghbors were victims, one of the rear seating of a tahoe
and the other of a lancer had his subwoofer's stolen..
i'm highly concerened, especially because i myself have two 12" L7
if the alarm doesn't sound..i must upgrade it..
appreciate any thoughts

Re: Stock alarm question

climb in your trunk, close the lid, arm your car, and pop the trunk open with the safety release handle in the trunk. i would imagine it should set off your alarm. or atleast it will answer your question.

i've only tried to pop the trunk once with the doors locked and the alarm on so Im assuming it happens all the time - but you know what they say about assuming --- ill test it and let you know.

I love how he is just sprinting away form the car. Like he's been in there for months.
