Anyone have or ever try this product in a CTS? Mostly I want the ability to stream music from my phone via a Bluetooth A2DP connection. I have seen some other products that do this, but mostly via a FM wireless connection to the radio, which I dont want. This Motorola T605 hard wires to the radio. Even with a hard wire connection from the device to the radio, there will still be a wireless Bluetooth connection from my phone to the device. So i am not expecting the BEST audio quality in the world. I just DO NOT want a device that transmits to the radio via a FM station.

Jimmy, if u read this thread I know you just installed a Parrot CK3000 in your ride. Have you streamed any audio via A2DP yet? If so, what device did u use (MP3 player, phone, etc)? How was it?

Re: Motorola T605

the CK3000 does not support a2dp (it is mono anyway)

The MK6100 I put in my wife's pilot does:

http://www.parrot.com/usa/products/h...s/parrotmk6100

It connects the same way as the ck3000, so my writeup would be the same for either kit.

I have no experience with moto kits, other than hearing one in someone else's car, and I was not impressed with it. he was using the external speaker though, as his car had an aftermarket head unit with mute input.

I dont have any a2dp devices yet. I am thinking about picking up a bluetooth mp3 player, and seeing how it works. But $200 is alot to spend on something I might not like. Plus her pilot is not amplified. so the output in her car would straight from the parrot brainbox to the speakers.

I am curious how it would work in my car though. I was going to buy the MK6100 (and should have Im a dumbass) since my output goes into the bose amp first. I might still do it.
I went with the ck3000, because it was half the price. $80 vs $170.

Re: Motorola T605

hey, i know that your not gonna be putting in a regular single DIM radio, but i did a system for a guy in a 2004 sierra. we put in a radio, i was looking for the name on here, it was similar to DEH-P810, it was a pioneer in which the bluetooth audio is streamed through the radio with no adapter or anything, leave your phone in your pocket, and toggle throught the music via the head unit. it worked out excellent, and truely it sounds pretty decent, and as a matter of fact we tested distance too, and it will stream from around 15 feet outside of the truck and it in his pocket. so if the adapters are anything like the radio, you outta be very satisfied, id check and see what pioneer offers in the line up of adapters, they may have something pretty decent looking.

Re: Motorola T605

Problem with replacing the head unit is all the features that it controls. PIE or someone should make a box that allows you to control all those settings. They already have one that retains the door chime and onstar. You wouldnt think it would be too much of stretch to have something that controls all the other stuff (door lock, light settings, personalization etc)
