Window tint

Anyone have Llumar Platinum plus Tint on their car. I am thinking of putting it on my Black CTS but I am not sure how it will look.

ohhh my fault... I missed the "Llumar Platinum plus" part... I think flat black tint looks best. I have never seen any car with a reflective or semi reflective tint that i ever liked. And there are tons of them here in NYC

I just got a 20% pre cut llumar tint cut from ebay, plan on installing this weekend. hope it goes well and its good quality tint...

I have Llumar Tint but it's charcoal colored. If I were you, I wouldn't go the reflective route... One man's opinion.

Anyone have tint recommendations for black interior? I am worried black/black CTS will get real hot this summer. Laws in my state say: Must allow more than 70% of light in...

Any tint on any car will reduce the heat of the car inside. It slows the greenhouse effect.

70% law, you will have to decide if you want to break that law or not.

The car comes stock with 70%. Look in the corner of the window. So any tint you do will be breaking the law.

I tinted 35% all around, Llumar Charcoal. I should have done 35% side windows, 5% rear but whatever. Also, the film is a bit greenish at first, but it gets darker as time pass.

You will get a ugly dot-matrix look on your rear windows when the film is applied over it. Ask the person tinting your window if he knows how to prevent that. (http://www.tintdude.com/dot-matrix.html)
