| | | some backed into my ride. I was in the parking lot waiting for a guy who was walking from his car into the store, when I felt this jerking motion, and then I look in my mirror and sure enough this guy backed right into me.
His truck bumper smashed my bumper which left a big dent and bent my borla exhaust up into the bumper and scatched the tip up.
the guy did'nt even apologize and had the nerve to ask what I was doing in his way.
dumbass told me he was older than me and had better insurance than me,
So i replied "good cause your going to need it".
the funny part is, his insurance company is in the same building as my office,so all I had to do was walk across the hall to file my claim. |

Here, parking lot accidents are 50/50, no debate. The only way around it is if you can prove you weren't in the car at the time. |

Everytime I've been hit in a parking lot the other guys insurance paid full bore and I got loaners and the whole works. The only excuse I can see for a 50/50 deal is that the police don't investigate. It's a civil matter and the insurance companies don't want to litigate.
