New here...time to spend some cash

Greetings. I bought a 2004 dark blue CTS 3.6 with the luxury package about a month ago and have been lurking here since. The only thing I've done is put on some E&G tips and have received a brushed aluminum dash kit from wood dash experts. I haven't installed it yet, though. The reason I got it was because the previous owner must have put on some type of adhesive for a cell phone holder because the coating near the CD palyer is pealing off. The grill is next.

I read about the Midwest meet in Bettendorf. Cool. I have lived in the Quads for about 13 years, so if anybody has any questions, hit me up. Obviously, you guys know what your doing because the Granite City breakfast buffet is the best. I plan on poppin in some time to see what's up and check out the rides. Would love to have some beers, play a little blackjack and bombard some of you with questions. I have many.

Thanks guys. I hadn't even thought of taking pics yet, but it's nothing you guys have never seen. The color is actually one I rarely see on the CTS. I should have pictures because the wife has a killer new Canon Rebel XTi with like 4 different lenses. She'd be able to take some cool pictures of your rides with the Mighty Miss. and bridge as a backdrop. Probably too nice of a camera because it would show all the sweet swirls and tiny scratches on my ride.

Nick, you definately picked a good area for the meet. There's a few more cool restaurants/bars since the last time you guys were here. I'll be around some time that weekend but I don't think I'll be heading way up to the southeastern tip of Minnesota(Cordova). There's a pretty "good grill your own" steakhouse over looking the Mississippi River called The Lodge in Port Byron just south of Cordova. I do have to hear the Volant CAI in person instead of just on video, because I think that's the one I'm leaning towards.

Congrats on owning the "fastest" color Blue Chip CTS's are the best of both worlds! Blue in the day/Black at night. You gotta get the sport grille! best mod EVER!
