Tinted tails

Not that I want to make my CTS look more like a civic or anything, but has anyone considered looking at slapping some clear tails. I think I saw one speed past me in Toronto the other day, I`m positive that he had clear fogs because that is what caught my attention at first and then when I looked in my side mirror I thought I saw clear tails. It`s been haunting me ever since.

i dont think they make clear tails for the 03-07 cts, the sts has clear ones, and i think the new cts too.

done myself with night shades and spraymax clear coat with hardener.

Man that looks great, i'm gonna do the same thing to my black cts. I asked this in another post, but does blacking out the reverse lights greatly diminish their light output? I have led reverse lights, which would probably help.

The reverse lights still light up just fine (stock bulbs). If you take a close look at my pictures on the last page, you will see that they aren't tinted that dark.

I also took off the CTS emblem, that was a must-do

Hey I just bought some night shades in order to do this myself... How many coats did you use, just curious cause i want them basically the same darkness as yours.
