Brake calipers

I am going to be putting new breaks on my 04. I am thinking about painting the calipers but I am not sure if it will just look cheap. Also if anyone has some suggestions on rotors and pads either good or bad that would be great.

ive also been thinkin of painting my cailpers.... i wanna do black or red i think. but im afraid ill have to clean the red ALOT to keep it lookin nice. Can some people post pics of there cailpers painted if anyone has done it?

Mine came painted silver from the factory. After five years and almost 100K miles, they still look pretty good (zero rust) after a mild cleaning. Personally, I think red would scream 'look at my stock floating caliper brakes'! Red looks fine on Brembo big disk brakes on a $100K car, but IMHO is a little loud for my taste.

Yeah I was thinking blue but I think it is going to stick out to much being a stock caliper. I think the red looks great on that V.

Anybody gotta link to a good caliper painting kit? Or recommendations on what to use to paint them?? I may just repaint mine silver...to brush it up with my 5 spoke sport rims....

I have found that G2 seems to be the best. I do not have any personal experience with it but everything I have read says its the longest lasting with the best finish if you want a glossy finish.
